5 Reasons to Quit Your Job

Many of us spend our entire lives working towards a career, and building ourselves as individuals through our work experiences. So when is it worth is to sacrifice all those years of effort? Is there a distinct point when you can safely say “it’s over”? Well may not, but here are five reasons to quit your job and move on.

Going Downhill ?

Your organization is going bankrupt. There’s a downward spiral, and you can see it. Time to get out while the getting’s good.

Your relationship with your ultimate superior is at a breaking point. You have tried your best to repair the broken connection, but there is very little else you can do, and you fear that this will negatively impact your personal and professional group in relation to the company.

Your life needs have evolved. You’ve got a newborn to take care of, or you’ve decided to buy a house – whatever the case may be, the job your currently have does not provide the financial or social support you need to support the change in your lifestyle. So out with the old, and in with the new!

Quit Corporate !

The corporate culture is wildly divergent from your belief system. No matter how hard you try to reconcile the two, or skirt around some of the more difficult points, you find yourself uncomfortable in the environment that you have to spend large amounts of your day in. This will not only destroy your productivity, but also your attitude towards your work and coworkers.

You discovered Freelancing !

You wake up in the morning and don’t go to work. Maybe your goals have shifted or your priorities have changes, but one thing’s for sure: when you don’t want to do something, you won’t do it well.
